Abure Ebosetale Gideon of Edo State has been crowned Mister International Nigeria 2026 following a competitive finale at the 6th edition of the Misters of Nigeria pageant, held at the MUSON Centre, Lagos, on April 23, 2026.

Abure emerged as one of the standout contestants of the night, impressing judges with his composure, presence, and well-rounded profile. His victory earns him the right to represent Nigeria at the prestigious Mister International competition, set to take place in Thailand later this year.

A multifaceted creative, Abure’s background spans architecture, modeling, and aeronautic engineering. He is widely regarded as a forward-thinking individual, driven by a clear mission to inspire young people and promote a future where creativity is transformed into tangible opportunity.

Speaking after his win, Abure emphasized his commitment to using the platform to influence and empower the next generation, particularly in areas that bridge innovation and self-expression.

Mister International, one of the world’s leading male pageants, is known for its high level of competition and global reach. Nigeria made history in 2024 when Samuel Nwajagu became the first Nigerian to win the international title. With his recent victory, Abure now carries the nation’s hopes as he prepares to compete on the global stage, aiming to replicate that landmark achievement.

The organizers have confirmed that the 20th edition of the Mister International competition will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, on September 26, 2026, where Abure will join contestants from across the world in pursuit of the global crown.

The Misters of Nigeria competition continues to position itself as a platform for discovering and elevating young men who embody excellence, intellect, and purpose, while contributing to the broader narrative of African representation on the world stage.
