Fans of EbonyLife Television will no longer have access to its digital service platform, EbonyLife ON as from November 30.
The company broke the sad news on Friday in a message to subscribers and the media.
Surprisingly, this is coming barely four months after the company pulled the plug on its DStv channel and shifted fully to the VoD platform.
“It has been our pleasure to provide a platform to share high-quality series and movies through our global video-on-demand (VoD) digital service, EbonyLife ON.
“As we wind down the year, we plan to discontinue our EbonyLife ON service effective November 30, 2020. As a result, we will cancel your subscription account online and via the mobile app,” EbonyLife stated in a statement sent out to subscribers and made available to TCN over the weekend.
Promoted as Africa’s first global black entertainment and lifestyle network, EbonyLife was launched on July 1, 2013 on MultiChoice’s DStv
