Afrobeat superstar singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido is expected to grace the UnitedMasters Grammy Weekend concert at Crypto Com Arena in Los Angeles.
The show, scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Hollywood Palladium, will also feature Dominican rapper, Tokischa and South Africa-based DJ-artist, Uncle Waffles.
UnitedMasters founder and CEO, Steve Stoute emphasized the celebration of global independence with international acts like Davido.
Since the release of his comeback album, Timeless, Davido has been soaring high as his album now has over a billion streams.
His new album had brought the singer more recognition and had made him a Grammy nominee. Timeless bagged 3 nominations for Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammy.
The event aims to demonstrate that artists can achieve success independently, similar to their label-signed counterparts.
UnitedMasters, known for connecting brands with culture, has secured partnerships with Diageo, Ally, Delta Air Lines, Visa, and Disney.
Diageo’s Bulleit Frontier Whiskey continues as the official spirits partner for the “Celebration of Independence.” Other sponsors this year include Diageo’s Johnnie Walker, Ally, Honda, and Delta Air Lines.
