A magistrate court sitting in Lagos has struck out a car theft case against controversial singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley and three others.
The Chief Magistrate of Tinubu Magistrates’ Court, Lagos Island, Tajudeen Elias, threw the case out after receiving a letter of withdrawal of the case.
The singer, his two brothers and his cousins, were on trial for a four-count charge of conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstruction of arrest.
Naira Marley who failed to appear in court has reportedly opted for out-of-court settlement after being given a last chance to appear before the court.

The complainant, Adelekan Ademola, had an agreement of settlement with the four defendants, and when the case came up, it was withdrawn and the defendants were discharged.
