Nigerian singers, Burna Boy’s and Rema’s songs have been listed as part of former US President, Barack Obama’s favourite music of 2019.
Burna Boy’s ‘Anybody’ and Rema’s ‘Ironman’ were listed in a social media post alongside Beyonce’s ‘Mood 4 Eva’, J. Cole’s ‘Middle Child’ and Frank Ocean’s ‘In my Room’, among others.
‘Ironman’ was also featured on the former POTUS’ summer playlist of 2019.
The artistes have had a phenomenal 2019, with Burna Boy winning several awards and clinching a Grammy nomination while Rema won the Headies Next Rated Artiste.
