Grammy-award winner and Nigerian Afrobeats star, Burna Boy, has again won the highly coveted Best International Act at the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.

The 2023 edition of the award show took place on Sunday June 25 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Burna Boy trumped artistes such as Ayra Starr, Central Cee, and Stormzy to secure the award.

This remarkable win extends Burna Boy’s reign in the BET Awards history, making it his fourth consecutive victory in the “Best International Act” category.

The Grammy-winning artiste previously claimed the title in 2019, 2020, and 2021, solidifying his position as a global music sensation.

Notably, the event paid tribute to the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop, honouring Busta Rhymes with the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award.’

The BET Awards, known for celebrating the best in music, television, film, and sports, has once again showcased the incredible talent that graces the entertainment industry.
