The Rotary Club of Ikeja-Alausa, Lagos in partnership with Radisson Blu, is set to host a two-day art exhibition titled Brush Strokes of Hope, scheduled to take place on the 17th and 18th of December 2024.

The event will showcase exclusive artworks, culminating in a private auction, all aimed at raising funds for essential humanitarian projects.

The exhibition, organised in collaboration with Dr Bolaji Ogunwo, an internationally-acclaimed artist and educator at the University of Lagos, aligns with Rotary’s mission of service to humanity.

Brush Strokes of Hope is a group exhibition of paintings by twelve Nigerian artists, namely Azeez Salami, Akinsola Olamilekan, Bali Audu, Femi Adeleke, Fortune Adelekan, James Hannah, Kenny Adenle, and Oke Mayomikun.

Others are Omotayo Ambali, Onyike Onwuchekwa, Olusegun Obajuluwa, and Yusuf Durodola. The exhibition will be curated by Temitope Oladeji.

Funds raised will support various projects planned for the Rotary year 2024–2025, including paediatric and eye surgeries, medical outreaches, and economic empowerment programmes.

The exhibition will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 17th December and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 18th December, with a private auction of select artworks from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the final day.

Organisers highlight significant benefits for corporate sponsors, emphasising visibility and alignment with global development goals.

“By partnering with the Rotary Club, businesses can showcase their commitment to Goal 3 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Good Health and Well-Being,” stated Rtn. Victor Ojelabi, chairman of the Art Exhibition Committee.

Sponsorship packages offer firms the following tiers:

– Gold Partnership: ₦2,000,000
– Silver Partnership: ₦1,500,000
– Bronze Partnership: ₦1,000,000

Corporate sponsors will enjoy extensive brand exposure, with their logos featured prominently on event publicity materials and media walls at the prestigious Radisson Blu in Lagos.

Furthermore, participating firms will receive recognition awards based on their chosen sponsorship tier.

The Rotary Club urges organisations and individuals to join hands in creating a lasting impact.

“Interested sponsors and art enthusiasts are encouraged to support this initiative, with all proceeds dedicated to funding vital humanitarian projects,” Ojelabi stated.
