Binta Fulani hosts BON Awards red carpet

…as Nollywood stars storm Kano

The sweet and sonorous voice of Arewa Radio presenter, Binta Abdullahi Fulani, will reverberate on the red carpet at this year’s Best of Nollywood Awards as organisers announce the lovely broadcaster as the host for the event’s red carpet.

In its 11th edition this year, the award ceremony holds tomorrow Saturday evening in the ancient city of Kano with loads of Nollywood and Kannywood celebrities already looking forward to a fanciful display on the red carpet and at the awards proper.

Aside from being an On Air Personality at the popular radio station in Kano State, Binta is also a fashionista and entertainment enthusiast.

According to the awards’ media director, Victor Ojelabi, she was chosen for her great communication skill and track record.

“It was easy for the board’s choice of Binta on the red carpet because she is an outstanding communicator with special ability to capture the attention of her audience.

“Besides, she is also very witty which gives assurance of fun exchanges at the prestigious awards,” he said.

The delectable BON 2019 red carpet host is a B.Sc holder from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, where she graduated with a second class upper.

Born on March 19, 1994, Binta enjoys hosting shows and events among other things.

BON 2019 will be hosted by veteran compare and stand-up comedy impresario, Gbenga Adeyinka, in a show that will be attended by Kano State governor, Alhaji Abdulahi Ghanduje, along with his top functionaries.

Many Nollywood stars, especially nominees from Lagos, are billed to join their Kannywood counterpart tomorrow at the ceremony which promises to be talk of the town in Kano.
