BBNaija: Season 6 Wildcards, Pere and Maria, To Continue On The Show As Housemates Fail To Evict Them

The first eviction show of the 2021 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) did not go as expected on Sunday night after housemates failed their task of identifying the wildcards – the two fake housemates – among them.

Last Sunday, Biggie said there were two wildcards in the house among the 22 ushered into the reality show and they are to be fished out by their colleagues.

Twenty housemates are usually admitted into the BBNaija house but 22 were announced this season to the surprise of the viewers.

The housemates were expected to figure out who the wildcards are to get them evicted during Sunday’s eviction show.

Although on Thursday, Biggie had revealed Maria and Pere as the actual Wildcards but during the eviction show, the majority of the housemates voted Liqurose and Jaypaul.

The show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, thereafter asked the actual wildcards to stand up, to the surprise of other housemates.

The wildcard is the first twist on the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ house.

The development means the two fake housemates are now eligible to contest with their other colleagues for the show’s ₦90 million grand prize.

Nomination for the next eviction of the show is expected to commence today Monday.
