Art Festival Season 2025 Brings 27 Events To North Shore

 Award-winning art festival production company Amdur Productions announced its 27-event festival season, with many events taking place throughout Chicago’s North Shore.

The company is celebrating 42 years of producing some of the most respected and popular juried art festivals. Founder Amy Amdur said she was inspired while first exhibiting her own work at local art shows and wanted to create more opportunities for artists to feel accomplished.

“The thrill of showcasing my art and realizing that someone wanted to buy it sparked something in me,” Amdur said. “That moment planted the seed for Amdur Productions. I wanted other artists to experience that same excitement.”

Sind its inception in 1983, Amdur and her team have produced more than 1,000 festivals and events, some of which earning top industry awards and recognition. Visitors at the festivals can explore and purchase artwork across a wide range of mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, glass, metal and more.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to kick off our 42nd season!” Amdur said. “Beloved events like the Gold Coast Art Fair, Evanston Art & Big Fork Festival, Port Clinton Art Festival and Art at the Glen are returning, along with exciting new additions like Arts on Sheridan in Highland Park, Hinsdale’s Fourth for All: Family Festival & Art Fair and the Southport Art Fest.
