Eminent personalities, top and emerging designers and brands have been confirmed to showcase at this year’s edition of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria’s main event which is slated for December 20th and 21st, 2019 at the Oriental Hotels, Lagos.

Designed for fresh and emerging designers who want exposure but do not have great finances to do other international shows or organize their own private shows, AFWN provide them the opportunity to showcase and mingle with established designers and other stakeholders in the industry.

The 2019 AFWN themed: ‘AFRICA UNITES’ main event includes two days of Catwalk shows, Exhibition, Fashion Seminar and Panel Discussions, and Exclusive Fashion Gala which will focus on empowerment, job creation, and supporting education and skills training in fashion.

The First Ladies of Ekiti and Kwara State will also be gracing the ‘Saturday Fashion Conversation’ while former Director-General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), Omotayo Omotosho, will deliver the keynote speech titled: ‘Fashion as an Instrument of Empowerment and Job Creation’.

The seminar and panel discussion topics cover a wide range of issues pertinent to the Nigerian fashion industry as regards worldwide visibility, distribution and manufacturing.

Brands such as Daviva, Odubela Couture, Lush, Bolams Asooke, Caroline 1942, Zephyr’s Atelier, Grafix Couture, Zoe Asher, Roar Clothing, Habeebat, Moon By Me, Revel, among others will be gracing the runway with unique fashion designs.
