Over thirty African musicians have been slated to perform at this year’s edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) Music Village.

AFRIMA’s Project Lead and Head of Media, Sola Dada, in a release made available to TCN, said that the 6th AFRIMA Music Village, themed ‘Wild & Wow’, has the value music lovers and fans require in a musical concert and this year’s will ensure entertainment for all and sundry.

“It is no doubt this year’s AFRIMA Music Village attendees will leave with utmost fulfillment. The decision by the International Committee of AFRIMA to change venue and take the concert closer to the grassroots in Agege Stadium, Agege Lagos where die-hard and loyal music lovers are, is to avail them the opportunity to experience their favorite African stars perform live on stage. From its inception, the concert has catered to its audience creating an experience that stays with them for a long time.

“The previous edition in Ghana at the 100,000-capacity Independence Square in Accra left the crowd yearning for more, and the 6th edition will surely surpass previous ones”, he added.

The AFRIMA Music Village is a music concert and cultural festival that accommodates over 40,000 music lovers across the continent who gather to witness live performances from various African artistes.

Top music artistes from across the 5 African regions, African artistes in the diaspora, past AFRIMA winners, as well as past and present nominees of AFRIMA will thrill music lovers at the event with non-stop energetic performances.

Artistes such as 2baba, Teni, Ycee, Pasuma Wonder, Rudeboy, Saheed Osupa, Small Doctor, Skiibi, Niniola, Falz, DJ Spinall, Mr. P, Tiwa Savage, Stonebwoy, Nasty C, Awilo Longomba, Sho Madjozi, Master KG, Sauti Sol, Rayvanny, Daphne, Anna Joe, Toofan, Aminux, Kanvee Adams, amongst others will grace the stage of the Music Village.
