Actress Wumi Toriola Lauds Femi Adebayo Over His New Netflix Movie

Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola is the latest celebrity to praise filmmaker Femi Adebayo.

Kemi Filani reported that the movie star, who has been teasing his new movie, Seven Doors, which features the likes of Chioma Akpotha, Dele Odule, Wumi Toriola, Kolawole Ajeyemi, and many others, premiered on the popular streaming platform Netflix.

Taking to her Instagram page, Wumi stated that she knew Femi was up to something big and crãzy, and as a student of literature, she saw literature being brought to visual.

Calling his work of Art a masterpiece, she praised the cast and crew for doing their thing.

Since Femi’s release of his first movie, Jagun Jagun on Netflix, he has undoubtedly made a mark for himself in the world of Filmmaking.

The movie shattered records on Netflix, as it went global on the streaming app with 2.1 million views, and was ranked 5th in Non-English Charts.

In October, Adebayo was quite elated as his 2023 movie, Jagun Jagun bagged 7 nominations at the 2024 AMAA. Femi revealed that his movie bagged nominations for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Achievement in Costume Design, achievement in Make-up, and more.
