We Have Done It Again – Femi Adebayo Excited As Jagun Jagun Bags 7 AMAA Nominations

Actor Femi Adebayo’s film ‘Jagun Jagun’ has bagged seven nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards, AMAA.

The nominations were unveiled in Lagos on Wednesday at an event attended by members of the jury, AMAA screening college, and board of Africa Film Academy, AFA.

‘Jagun Jagun’ received nominations in several key categories of the 20th edition of the award.


The categories include Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Achievement in Production Design, Achievement in Costume Design, Achievement in Makeup, Achievement in Visual Effects, the Ousmane Sembene Award for Best Film in an African Language, and NFVCB Award for Best Nigerian Film.

The excited actor announced that news to his team and fans in an Instagram post on Thursday: “Hey guys, we have done it again! Delighted to announce that Jagun Jagun clinched seven nominations at the 2024 AMAA AWARDS nominee announcement yesterday.”

Notable personalities in attendance included the Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB, Shaibu Husseini, George and Chinyere Anyiam-Osigwe, Kennedy Anyiam-Osigwe, Raymond Anyiam-Osigwe, Steve Ayorinde, Francis Onwochei, Sunny McDon, Nobert Young, Segun Arinze, Alex O, Cordelia Okpei, Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson and Charles Novia.
