Tiwa’s Sex Scandal: We Are All Savages

by Bayo Oyenuga October 23, 2021
by Bayo Oyenuga October 23, 2021

First off, I will admit to being a bit biased because I’ve known Tiwa (Savage) since London days when she was a member of the choir in my local congregation.

Tiwa always had that smile and look most ‘would be’ stars posses, the same I saw in Dbanj and a pint sized boy who would be later known as Wizkid.

Most creatives have an eccentric side to their personality. I have seen 2Face fall face flat drunk in a club, battled to help a Gospel Star get over an addiction… seen Burna Boy walk away from mounting a stage with very rich and powerful people in the audience because he felt disrespected.

In my time I have seen a lot and that’s sort of why I’m not really active musically although I love the art.

I’m biased because I see the Tiwa who lost out on Xfactor UK, put aside a Business degree and moved to the US to study Music and later reinvent herself into an Afro pop princess.

People have sex, people film themselves having sex .. it is their private business and for their personal consumption. The main problem Tiwa had was trusting her private moment to someone who was not loyal to her.

In my first years of separation, I did a lot of things I am not proud of and if it ever got out I would be castigated but never underestimate the lengths people go to fill an emptiness. It’s easy to say ‘fill it with God’ until you find yourself in those shoes.

Tiwa trusted someone who released a short clip of their private moment where he conviniently cropped out his face (Anyway judging by what he flashed of himself it’s understandable why he hid his face)…

The coward then proceeded to post it online to the vehemently consummation of a generation easy to shoot down anyone who falls below their expectations.

Before you decide to quote the usual ‘she should have known better’ .. ask yourself what bad habit you have.. drugs, theft, masturbation etc.. imagine if this is recorded and posted in the public domain.

Imagine if that extra zero you put in the contract was highlighted, imagine if you got an STD from that girl you slept with on your business trip?

We are all savages.. now shut up and thank God for covering your secrets. For anyone who thinks contrary May all your secret sins be exposed and May the world judge your sins in the court of public opinion.

We are all Savages, made Saints by the Grace of God.
