Nigerian music icon, Tiwa Savage, has hinted that her forthcoming album could mark the end of her illustrious music career.

The 44-year-old singer shared her thoughts on her Instagram story, expressing exhaustion and a sense of accomplishment after years in the industry.

“This might be my last studio album. I am tired, I don try,” Savage wrote, sparking speculation among fans about her retirement plans.

Tiwa Savage, often referred to as the “Queen of Afrobeats,” has had a groundbreaking career spanning over a decade. Known for hits like Somebody’s Son, All Over, and Koroba, she has consistently topped charts and earned multiple accolades, both locally and internationally.

Although she didn’t confirm an official retirement, her post has left fans reflecting on her impact on the Nigerian music scene. Many have taken to social media to express their admiration for her contributions and hope that she will continue to inspire even if she steps away from the studio.

Savage’s statement comes amid a year filled with major achievements, including sold-out performances and collaborations with global artists. Whether or not this album will be her swan song, it’s clear that Tiwa Savage’s legacy is already cemented in the annals of African music history.
