Star Lager, Access Bank’s New Talent Hunt To Award N150mln Prize

Nigerian Breweries and Access Bank have announced a collaborative platform to discover the next generation of Nigerian music talents.

‘Access The Stars’, is a new platform created for exceptional and aspirational Nigerians in the music industry to be discovered, refined, and empowered to reach higher heights by accessing their star potential. Successful artists will get to tour with the best of Nigerian artists on ‘The Trek’ across the country, giving the grassroots access to the stars to learn one-on-one.

Nigerian Breweries (through Star Lager) and Access Bank are consolidating the trajectory of “Discovering, Refining and Showcasing” the best of Nigeria’s musical talents.

Speaking on the new initiative at an unveiling press conference, Access Bank MD/CEO, Herbert Wigwe said: “Both our brands share a long history of creating excellent musical experiences for not just our customers, but the wider Nigerian audience, and this is us expanding on that”.

Discovered talents will tour on ‘The Trek’, alongside A-list musicians – Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Flavour, Phyno, Olamide, Kcee, among others.

Access The Stars will be hosted by R&B artiste, Dare Art-Alade and On Air Personality, Olive Emodi as co-host. Choreographer and dancer, Kaffy; Nigerian Music Producer, Tee-Y Mix; and R&B Songstress, Seyi Shay will judge the talents to be picked across Nigeria.

The winner of the talent hunt will receive a prize of One hundred and fifty million Naira.
