Sony Pictures has released the official trailer for SpiderMan: Brand New Day, marking the return of the franchise after a five-year break.

The trailer, unveiled on Wednesday, confirms Tom Holland’s return as Peter Parker, following the events of SpiderMan: No Way Home, where the world lost memory of his true identity.

The new instalment follows Parker as he navigates life anonymously while continuing his role as SpiderMan, protecting New York City and confronting emerging threats.

The film also expands its cast, featuring Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, both joining forces with the web slinger.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the project is positioned as a key lead-up to Avengers: Doomsday, expected later in the year.

According to the official synopsis, the story explores Peter Parker’s struggle to rebuild his life while uncovering a larger criminal mystery tied to his past.

Returning cast members include Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Ba, alongside new additions such as Sadie Sink, Liza Colon Zayas, and Michael Mando.

The film is scheduled for cinema release on July 31, 2026
