Seun Kuti Drops Bombshell On IShowSpeed’s Africa Tour

Popular Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, has claimed that the recent African tour by American streamer cum Influencer, IShowSpeed, was a spy job for entrepreneur Elon Musk.

Recall that IShowSpeed, who visited 20 African countries in January 2026, stated that the tour was to promote African culture.

However, Seun Kuti, in a video shared on his social media page, dismissed the claim, stating that Elon Musk sponsored the tour to determine where his satellites have reached across Africa.

Narrating how the tour promoter and producer had earlier contacted him, Seun said he had been privy to information about the ‘main’ purpose of the tour a few days ago.

He said, “You can’t know the deals they’re making behind the scenes. You can’t know the people they’re talking to behind the scenes. You just think they’re coming to talk to you but they all have agender.

“After IShowSpeed’s promoter and producer of his African tour called that we want to see you and I agreed. But they didn’t call me again or come to the shrine again when they reached Nigeria, and the promoter is my friend but I don’t want to mention the name.

“I called and sent messages but none of them responded. After the whole thing, he started sending me some kind of yeye message. Well e no even concern me too much because I don’t really mind, so I let it go.

“Only to find out the day before yesterday that Elon Musk was the one that sponsored the whole thing to know where his satellite don reach for Africa. That’s why they were visiting bushy areas. So, all that was a spy job for Elon Musk.”
