The birds are back, and this time, saving the world isn’t Red’s only problem.

Paramount Pictures has dropped the first trailer for The Angry Birds Movie 3, with the grumpy, hot-headed Red facing his toughest mission yet: fatherhood.

Voiced once again by Jason Sudeikis, Red must navigate parenting while also stepping up to save the world in the animated sequel, which flies into cinemas on December 23.

Directed by John Rice and written by Thurop Van Orman, the third instalment boasts a star-studded voice cast, including Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Lily James and YouTube star MrBeast.

Arriving nearly seven years after The Angry Birds Movie 2, the new film promises bigger laughs, fresh adventures and a softer side to everyone’s favourite angry bird.
