Police Slam Dwayne Johnson With Heavy Fine After Hollywood Walk Of Fame Ceremony

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was left looking downcast after being pulled over by police in Los Angeles on Thursday, shortly after attending the glitzy Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci.

The 53-year-old actor, who had been celebrating his colleagues’ achievements, was stopped by officers for violating California’s vehicle window tint law. Johnson, who appeared somber during the traffic stop, was seen watching as the officer issued him a ticket.

Speaking to a photographer, the actor confirmed the ticket was for tinted windows, a common infraction in the state, where strict laws dictate that front side windows must allow at least 70% of light to pass through, and windshield tints are restricted to the top 4-5 inches.

Johnson, who accepted the ticket and went on his way, was dressed sharply for the ceremony in a white shirt and cream dress pants, complemented by brown leather loafers and eyeglasses.

Earlier, the actor had participated in the event to honor his friends, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, who were both awarded stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Johnson, who recently starred with Blunt in the drama The Smashing Machine, praised her during his speech, highlighting her gratitude and positive attitude, which he believes contribute to her success.

The duo, who also starred together in Jungle Cruise, were joined by their families for the double star ceremony, which also saw Tucci, 65, and Blunt, 43, surrounded by their loved ones during the celebrations.

While The Smashing Machine did not perform well at the box office, Johnson’s performance received praise from critics, despite the film’s overall mixed reception.

Johnson, however, was clearly unfazed by the ticket incident, continuing to enjoy the evening’s festivities despite the minor setback.
