Following the successful debut in June of Massimo Industry Hangout where two stand-out practitioners in the events industry – Olugbuyi Ogunnaike, the brain behind Icebox, a household name in the business of drink supplies, and Foluke Adedokun, the CEO of FruitieWorld, a smoothie company –were honoured with recognition awards, the organizers of the hangout are set to celebrate another set of professionals at its second edition.
For the July edition coming up on Sunday Juky 30, Tobi Fletcher, the creative mind behind ‘Ofadaboy’ and Oluwatoyin Deborah Oyesanya, the Chief Executive Officer of ‘Royal Hugs Surprises’ have been selected for honour.
The event will hold at the Alexia’s Place in Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.
Prince Layinka Oyedeji, the brain behind the Maximo Industry Hangout, disclosed that this month’s event will be a night of premium enjoyment as the two industry stand-outs get their deserved recognitions.
“We are celebrating these two practitioners for their toils and enterprises in the events industry. Ofadaboy with his packaging, taste and presentation has changed people’s perception of local rice at parties.
He has influenced a lot of vendors in presenting Ofada rice so nicely that Ofada has become the top choice at parties. Royal Hugs Surprises, on her part, have carved a niche for itself by springing surprises for people who are in a celebratory mood for their birthdays, anniversaries and many other honorary events. Her signature lifting of celebrants off their feet is awesome and unique while her energy in carrying people up regardless of their weight is commendable,” said Oyedeji, a renowned entertainment entrepreneur with over two decades’ experiences in the showbiz and events industries.
He added that before receiving their commemorative plaques at the event, the citations of both Fletcher and Oyesanya will be read and they will later share their wide range of experience in the industry with guests and the media.
The dynamic Aristos Band will be on the bandstand to entertain the distinguished guests.

“It is a monthly evening of music and merriment, cocktails and canapés, and other assortments that enliven a party,” according to the organisers.
