Nigerian culture took centre stage in Plymouth, United Kingdom, as popular singer Jesse King, better known as Buga, Nollywood actor Muyiwa Ademola and other prominent Nigerian entertainers were honoured at the second edition of the Nigerian Cultural Festival.
Held recently at Foulston Park, Madden Road, Devonport, Plymouth, the festival brought together members of the Nigerian diaspora, cultural enthusiasts and the wider community for a colourful celebration of Nigeria’s heritage, creativity and identity. NigerianEconomic Reports
Organised by Toskel Community Heritage & Culture CIC in collaboration with Toskel Travels Limited, the festival was designed to showcase the richness and diversity of Nigerian culture to an international audience while strengthening cultural connections among Nigerians in the diaspora.
With a focus on heritage, community and future generations, the event featured cultural exhibitions, musical performances, traditional dances, Nigerian cuisine, cultural displays and activities aimed at encouraging participants to celebrate their roots.
