Nigeria @ 61: Lagos ‘Eko On Show’ Festival

As part of efforts geared towards reviving the entertainment scene in Lagos State after the effect of covid19 pandemic while also strategically showcasing the state as the soul of entertainment of Nigeria, the state’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture is set to further celebrate Nigeria’s Independence with the “Eko on Show” festival slated for Friday, 15th October, 2021 at Muri-Okunola Park, Victoria Island. According to the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, the show will feature A-list artistes like Davido, Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr, Teni and D’banj, among others, while veteran musicians like Dede Mabiaku, Mayegun Wasiu Ayinde, and Sir Shina Peters are also billed to perform at the event.

The commissioner who disclosed this at a Press Conference on Tuesday at Muri-Okunola Park, noted that the festival was in continuation of Nigeria’s Independence Annivers
