Lanre Da Silva Ajayi Celebrates 20-Year Fashion Milestone

Lagos came alive penultimate Sunday, November 16th, as Lanre Da Silva Ajayi (LDA) marked a remarkable 20 years of redefining African couture. The evening, a dazzling celebration of creativity, sophistication, and legacy, brought together Nigeria’s elite, top CEOs and fashion tastemakers.

Adding a touch of iconic luxury to the milestone was Johnnie Walker Blue Label, which served as the Exclusive Spirit Partner for the celebration. Guests were treated to a bespoke VIP experience, enjoying signature serves of the rare Scotch, perfectly complementing an evening dedicated to timeless elegance.

A major highlight of the night was when Johnnie Walker Blue Label presented LDA with a personalized, engraved bottle—a fitting tribute to two decades of groundbreaking work in fashion.

Joan Odafe-Ejumedia, Marketing Manager, Reserve Scotch Diageo South, West & Central Africa, spoke to the partnership’s resonance: “We celebrate the exceptional, whether in our one-in-ten-thousand casks or in the milestones of visionaries. Lanre Da Silva Ajayi’s 20th Anniversary is the perfect union of two masters, both committed to rarity, precision, and timeless legacies.”

For LDA, the collaboration was equally meaningful: “Fashion is about creating enduring memories and celebrating milestones. I am deeply honored to have Johnnie Walker Blue Label, the true icon of celebration, share in this moment. It reflects a shared dedication to excellence and uncompromising quality.”
