King Charles III and music icon Elton John joined young people at a music workshop in London, highlighting a new initiative aimed at giving young people greater access to creative education and opportunities in the music industry.
The workshop forms part of a new education programme developed through a collaboration between Apple and The King’s Trust Creative Labs. The initiative is designed to use music and creative technology to help young people develop practical skills, explore their creativity and gain greater confidence in pursuing opportunities within the creative sector.
During the session, King Charles, Elton John and Tom Cook spoke with participants and engaged with their work, bringing attention to the role of creative education in supporting young people’s development.
The programme builds on The King’s Trust’s wider work with young people, while Apple’s involvement brings its technology and creative resources into the learning environment.
The London workshop brought together royalty, music and technology around a shared focus on young people’s creative development. Through initiatives such as the new programme, participants are being given opportunities to explore music, develop new skills and potentially take their first steps towards careers in the creative industries.
