Grammy Award-winning Nigerian artiste, Wizkid, has again given bragging rights to his fanbase as the lyrics to his song ‘Jaiye Jaiye’ which featured Afrobeat maestro, Femi Kuti, was spotted at a museum in the United Kingdom, the Horniman Museum.

A twitter post by one of his associates, DJ Timmy, announced this good news during the weekend.

In his caption, Timmy wrote: “It was heart- warming seeing Wizkid’s lyrics at a British Museum @HornimanMuseum.”

The framed lyrics to the song, which was released eight years ago, was displayed on the wall.

Wizkid is one of the country’s most sought- after international export going by the great recognition his music has enjoyed on the foreign scene.

His good fortune seems to have also been recognised further by the British who had his song lyrics framed and put up for display at the Horniman Museum.

The Nigerian DJ, while commending the feat, also enthused that Afrobeats is now globally respected.

The same Horniman Museum in London had earlier this year received commendation after it announced its decision to return to Nigeria some Benin bronzes looted from the ancient Benin kingdom.
