Hundreds of people have participated in a free festival celebrating chalk art in Guernsey.
Organisers of the Chalk Art Festival said more than 400 people attended the event at Saumarez Park on Sunday.
Participants were given a square to fill in how they wanted with chalk drawings.
Organiser Ross Le Brun said the event “went really well”.
“It was that nice atmosphere where you can just enjoy art, a family-friendly event where everybody could just muck in,” he said.
“The kids were all running round and grabbing their chalk, they had pride in their work.”
Mr Le Brun said volunteers and the event being free made it accessible to all.
“I wanted to make sure it was free because there’s not a lot that kids can do over here that is free,” he said.
“There’s a cost to travel, even if it’s not a financial cost, there’s a time cost that some parents can’t [do].
“This was to try and offer them something and we want to offer more.”
