The Guild of Theatre Arts Drummers (GOTHAD), in collaboration with Canon and Miraisha, will commemorate World Drummer Day 2026 with a couple of events.

Themed ‘The Drum for Humanity’, the celebration will see the association of Nigerian drummers host a three-day Canon photography workshop for the artistes from March 25 – 26, at the National Council of Arts and Culture, National Theatre, Ignamu, Lagos.

The events will then coalesce into the major celebratory event on April 4, 2026.

World Drummers Day 2026 is supported by NCAC Lagos, the Q-Dance Centre, Drums View Concept, Kings and Queens, Artists Village Nigeria, and Dejitar Music and Arts.
