Afrobeats singer Adedamola Adefolahan, aka Fireboy DML, has opened up on his experience going on a date with legendary American pop star Madonna.

The 29-year-old singer described Madonna, 66, as a “crazy woman,” hinting at the fun they had together during their date.

Speaking in a recent episode of the 90s Baby Show, Fireboy said, “Madonna took me on a date, she paid for the bills. I offered but… It’s Madonna, mehn. Allowed!

“The things that we discussed on that date, the dynamics were different. It was refreshing for me. I was able to see things from a different perspective like, ‘Okay, so that’s what it feels like to be taken out on a date?’

“I can’t discuss all the details for not so obvious reasons. But, it was very crazy. She is a crazy woman.”

In a 2024 interview with Billboard News, Fireboy revealed that his date with Madonna was the “most memorable day” of his life.

He described her as “so weird and funny”.

Recall that Madonna featured Fireboy in a remix of her 1998 classic, ‘Frozen’ in 2022. They also shot a video for the song in the United States.
