Fans Furious After Major Disruption At 2026 Stagecoach Festival

by The Culture Newspaper April 27, 2026
by The Culture Newspaper April 27, 2026
The 2026 Stagecoach country music festival has left several fans upset and confused, as high winds on Saturday night forced evacuations, but the show still went on.

The winds were said to have grown stronger throughout Little Big Town’s performance, prompting food vendors to close early, and the festival was halted, with performers being guided off the stage.

A message appeared on the screen, asking fans to move as quickly as possible to the nearest exit. “The festival has been postponed until further notice,” the message said.

It was about 90 minutes after the crowd left for the parking lot and shuttles that the festival organisers sent out another message, a notification, saying the show would continue. Also, the headliner, Lainey Wilson’s set, was being pushed back an hour to 10:30 pm.

Arranged performances by Gavin Adcock and Pitbull were also reported as delayed. Journey and Riley Green had their performances cancelled, according to an update on the Stagecoach app. Fans were angry about the following events.

Going online, a fan lamented: “Back in our cars to our hotels and Airbnb because we were instructed to emergency evacuation! Unreal,”

While another said, “I’m in pjs in the hotel eating my Taco Bell, I am not coming back.”And yet another rented out frustration stating, “DISAPPOINTED. You had so many fans waiting for you to adjust given the circumstances.”
