Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Drake has become the first artist in history to achieve 10 Diamond certifications, a monumental milestone in his career.

The Canadian rapper and singer’s latest tracks to surpass the 10-million-unit sales mark in the U.S. are “Hold On, We’re Going Home” from his 2013 album ‘Nothing Was the Same’ and his 2009 breakout hit “Best I Ever Had.”

The RIAA celebrated the achievement on social media, declaring, “@Drake has the most RIAA Diamond Certifications of any artist, ever. “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and “Best I Ever Had” are now certified RIAA Diamond, bringing Drake to a total of 10 Diamond Certifications. @ovosound”, alongside a graphic showcasing his collection of Diamond plaques.

These new certifications join an elite list of previously honored tracks, including “God’s Plan,” “One Dance,” “Hotline Bling,” “Life Is Good” (with Future), “SICKO MODE” (with Travis Scott), “No Guidance” (with Chris Brown), and “Love Me” (with Lil Wayne and Future).

Drake’s record-breaking tally surpasses country legend Garth Brooks and rapper Post Malone, each with nine Diamond certifications.

Notably, Drake stands alone as the only artist to reach double-digit Diamond certifications across both singles and albums.
