Despite the social media chatter suggesting tension between Nigerian music stars Wizkid and Davido, DJ Tunez—Wizkid’s personal disc jockey—says the situation is far from serious.
Speaking on the Moni Talks podcast, Tunez reassured fans that Wizkid holds no ill feelings toward Davido and is even looking forward to the possibility of collaborating on tour with the 30BG boss.
“Wizkid has big love for Davido. I am just hoping we could go on tour together—Starboy and 30BG. That is all we need right now,” Tunez said.
The DJ highlighted that a joint tour between the two Afrobeats giants could be a major boost for the genre, potentially opening doors to international audiences and strengthening the global profile of Nigerian music.
This isn’t the first time the idea of a Wizkid-Davido tour has been floated. Both artists have previously hinted at touring together, sparking excitement among fans eager to see two of Africa’s biggest stars share a stage.
