For Nigerians to develop more interest in travel and tourism within other ECOWAS states, a tourism scheme tagged Destination West Africa Project is set for launch come Saturday September 24 at the Lekki Conservation Centre in Lagos.
The initiative aims at exploring the abundance of natural resorts, food, culture, dance, adventure and trade when travellers tour West African destinations like Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Gambia among others.

A brain child of the Goge Africa, a foremost Tour and Destination Marketing consultants headed by Isaac and Nneka Moses, in collaboration with other partners, Saturday’s launch of the event tagged Destination West Africa Project (DWAP) also seeks to lobby governments and stake holders in the tourism sector “to promote, lower the barriers and market West African Destinations.”
With the theme ‘ECOWAS of the people: Tourism within the sub-region – challenges and prospect’, the launch is expected to bring various tourism stakeholders together in advancing the cause of regional travel and tourism promotion in West Africa.
