Manchester Magistrates’ court has remanded popular American musician, Chris Brown for assault.

The singer was remanded on Friday after being denied bail by justice Joanne Hirst.

Justice Joanne Hirst, who stated that the matter is beyond Magistrates Court, however transferred the case to Southwark Crown Court in London.

The next hearing was adjourned till June 13 2025.

Recall that the R&B star was arrested at The Lowry Hotel in Salford on Thursday, over an alleged bottle attack at Tape nightclub in Mayfair.

He was charged to court with grievous bodily harm after he was accused of attacking music executive, Abe Diaw, with a bottle in 2023.

Diaw sued Brown for $16 million damages for injuries sustained and the losses stemming from the incident.
