The Official Selection of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival has been announced.

The selection includes films by Wes Anderson, Hirokazu Kore-eda, Wim Wenders, Ken Loach, Todd Haynes, and Steve McQueen.
As previously announced,ย Maiwennโsย Jeanne du Barry,ย starring the director opposite Johnny Depp, will open the festival on May 16.
The festivalโs longtime director Thierry Frรฉmaux revealed the Official Selection at a press conference at the UGC Normandie Theatre in Paris today alongside incoming festival president Iris Knobloch.
Two-time Palme dโOr-winning Swedish filmmakerย Ruben รstlund will preside over the juryย that will vote on the festivalโs top prizes in the international competition.
Previously announced titles wereย Martin Scorseseโsย Killers Of The Flowersย Moon,ย Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny, and Pedro Almodovarโsย Strange Way Of Life.
The 76th edition of the festival will runย May 16-27.
