Burna Boy Becomes First African Artiste to Earn Over $1m From a Single Concert in Oceania

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy, has made history as the first African artiste to gross over $1 million from a single concert in the continent of Oceania.

He achieved the fit with the Sydney stop of his No Sign Of Weakness tour million at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, on 18 October 2025, which grossed $1.117 million.

Global tour monitoring platform, Touring Data, also reported that Burna Boy’s ‘No Sign If Weakness’ tour broke the record for “the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania’s history, with $3.1 million from 31,000 tickets sold across 4 shows.”


The breakdown by Touring Data shows that the Australian leg of the tour sold 30,946 tickets across four shows at the average price of $100.94 per ticket and revenue of $772,791 average per show.

The No Sign Of Weakness tour was held across 20 shows in three continents, North America, Europe and Oceania.

Burna Boy is now the the first African artist in history to gross over $1 million from a single concert in 3 continents.
