Box Office: ‘Ajosepo’, ‘Call Of My Life,’ ‘Master Of The Universe’, ‘Iwe Ala’ Gross N767m

‘Ajosepo (The Gathering)’, ‘Call of My Life’, ‘Iwe Ala’ and ‘Master of the Universe’ all made good statements in the box office weekend.

‘Ajosepo’ posted an impressive box office performance, further highlighting the growing popularity of Nollywood productions among cinema audiences across West Africa.

FilmOne Entertainment on Wednesday said the film had grossed N128 million at the West African box office. This marks a significant milestone in its theatrical run.

The distributor thanked audiences for their continued support, noting that the film’s success reflects the increasing appreciation of indigenous stories and locally produced content.

“Ajosepo (The Gathering) has now crossed N128 million at the West African box office.

“Thank you to everyone who has shown up, supported and celebrated this remarkable story on the big screen.

“Your love and support continue to drive the film’s success and inspire us to bring more authentic stories to audiences everywhere,” the company said.

The film remains among the Nollywood titles currently screening in cinemas across the region, attracting moviegoers with its engaging storyline and strong performances.

‘Call of My Life’
Also, ‘Call of My Life’ recorded impressive box office performances. FilmOne Entertainment on Wednesday said that ‘Call of My Life’ had grossed more than N574 million at the box office. This makes it the number one film of the weekend for five consecutive weekends.


The distributor also noted that the movie had become the seventh highest grossing Nollywood film of all time, marking another milestone in its cinema run.

FilmOne expressed appreciation to audiences across the region for their continued support of the film.

“Call of My Life just crossed a massive N574m at the box office and the records keep coming.

“Now the 7th Highest Grossing Nollywood Film of all time and number one film of the weekend for five consecutive weekends.

“Thank you West Africa for refusing to let love leave the building. You have made history with this film,” the company said.

‘Iwe Ala’
Meanwhile, ‘Iwe Ala’ secured the second position at the weekend box office, grossing N21.7 million.

The film continues to attract cinema-goers and remains among the leading Nollywood titles currently showing nationwide.

‘Call of My Life’ and ‘Iwe Ala’ are still screening in cinemas, reflecting sustained audience interest in locally produced content.

‘Master of the Universe’
‘Masters of the Universe’, also distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, grossed N43 million in the second weekend at the West African box office.

The film emerged as the highest grossing Hollywood movie of the weekend, reflecting its strong viewership among cinema audiences across the region.

In a statement shared on its Instagram page, the distributor expressed appreciation to audiences for their support.

“Thank you West Africa for a 43 million Naira opening weekend and making Masters of the Universe the highest grossing Hollywood film of the weekend,” it said.

NAN reports that the film continues to screen in cinemas nationwide as it seeks to build on its opening weekend success.

With its strong debut performance and continued cinema run, the movie is expected to attract more audiences in the coming weeks.
