BBNaija: Biggie Disqualifies Erica For Flagrant Disrespect Of House Rules, Issues Neo Final Warning

Lockdown housemate, Erica Ngozi Nlewedim, has been disqualified from this year’s Big Brother Naija reality show for “flagrant disrespect” of the house rules.

Big Brother announced her disqualification on Sunday evening after issuing the 26-year-old actress a third and final strike before the commencement of the live eviction show.

He reiterated that while housemates have the freedom to express themselves, they should do so within the confines of the rules of the house.

Big Brother went on to play back a video showing Erica committing multiple infractions including defacing property and goading fellow housemates.

“Your action demonstrated disrespect for Big Brother’s house rules despite the responsibility as Head of house to lead by example,” Biggie said.

Erica’s Face-off With Laycon, Prince

The drama had begun after the house’s Saturday night party as Erica confronted Laycon in an effort to get him to address an issue raised by the show’s host, Ebuka.
Last week, Ebuka had said that Laycon told other housemates that she tried to kiss him “multiple times”.

During the confrontation, Erica called Laycon derogatory names and threatened to kill him outside the house and do “anything within her power to make sure he suffers in life”.

The threat contravenes Article 18 sub-paragraph 1 of the Big Brother Naija house rules, which states that “housemates should never threaten, intimidate or act violently towards each other,” highlighting violence to include goading, bullying and victimisation.

Biggie also queried her for pouring water on the bed and denying the deputy Head of House (HoH), Prince, access to the HoH lounge.

Biggie also told Erica that she could have said what she needed to say and walked away without worsening the situation.

He then found her guilty of denying the Deputy HoH access to the HoH Lounge, peeping through the windows and calling out to the production crew, disrespecting her fellow Housemates, bullying, provocation and goading.

Continuing, he said that Erica’s actions last night demonstrated a flagrant disrespect of Big Brother’s House rules and was worsened by the fact that as the serving HoH she was supposed to lead by example.

Neo Issued Stern and Final Warning

In the same vein, another housemate, Neo, was issued a final warning by Biggie for obstructing Vee last night while she tried to leave the room.

“Obstructing a housemate and denying her freedom within the big brother house is against the Big Brother rules.

“Your actions were out of line and infringement of the house rules.

“There was a disagreement between Vee and yourself, Vee clearly chose to leave the room and you denied her that choice.

“Your action provoked Vee. You have been issued a strong and final warning,” Biggie said.

He also warned Vee for tugging at Neo’s shirt during the showdown.
