Ayra Starr Surpasses 2 Billion Spotify Streams, Joins Elite Nigerian Artists

Famous Nigerian songstress, Ayra Starr, has surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify across all credits.

Spotify data aggregating platform, Kworb announced that Ayra just surpassed over 2 billion streams as on October 10, 2024.

This comes months after releasing her second album ‘The Year I Turned 21’ which has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify .

Ayra Starr joins other Nigerian musicians like Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, Wizkid, CKay and Davido with over 2 billion Spotify streams across all credits.

The announcement came a few hours after Ayra bagged four nominations at the 2024 MTV EMAs.
