Legendary Nigerian musician 2face Idibia has deleted all posts and videos related to his divorce.

He deleted the last video he made to confirm the rumours a few hours after posting it on both his Instagram story and page.

DAILY POST reports that 2face had, in a controversial post on his page on Sunday, January 26, 2025, announced his divorce from Annie, his wife of 12 years.

Deleting the post shortly after, the singer claimed that his Instagram account had been hacked.

The development, which came as a shock to netizens—especially his fellow celebrities—generated controversy on social media.

Reacting to the controversy, 2face in a trending video made a U-turn, saying that he was the one who made the announcement and that his account had never been hacked.

Speaking in pidgin, 2face said: “Hello my people, nobody hacked my account. Na me talk weytin I won yan.”

However, in a turn of events on Monday morning, a check revealed that the singer had deleted all the divorce-related posts, including the video he made.
