Akon, the Senegalese-American singer, has described Davido, the Afrobeats star, as the “ultimate shouter”.
Akon was asked to choose between Wizkid or Davido in a recent chat with Issra, a BBC radio presenter.
The 51-year-old music executive said he “gets into trouble” for speaking about the ‘Timeless’ hitmaker.
Akon said he prefers Davido over Wizkid, adding that the ‘OBO’ crooner is the “ultimate shouter”.
“I get into trouble for mentioning anything about Davido. So I am gonna go with Davido. Davido will whoop my ass,” he said.
“Davido is the ultimate shouter.”
