A Veteran filmmaker and author, Matthew Simpa, is set to release two new books soon, continuing his prolific literary output.

Earlier this year, Simpa achieved a rare feat by launching both a prose work and a poetry collection on the same day. Now, he is preparing to unveil two more prose titles, further cementing his reputation as a versatile and accomplished writer.

The first upcoming release is “Juliet,” which is expected to be published by the Stephen F. Austin State University Press, Texas, USA.

This novel follows the story of a journalist named Cletus who attempts to rescue an abused orphan girl named Juliet from her exploitative guardians. In the process, Cletus finds himself pitted against the entrenched political powers in his community.

Simpa’s second new book is titled “Unwavering Faith” and will be published by the Babcock University Press. This work explores the narrative of another journalist whose children refuse to embrace his devout Christian lifestyle and high moral standards.

“Matthew Simpa continues to impress with his ability to craft compelling stories that delve into profound social themes,” said Dr. Chris Omotosho, the Chairman of the South West Writers’ Forum and Head of the Theatre Department at the Federal College of Education in Osiele, Abeokuta.

His latest projects are meant to captivate readers and cement his reputation as one of Nigeria’s most versatile and insightful authors.

With the impending release of “Juliet” and “Unwavering Faith,” Simpa solidifies his status as a prolific and multi-talented writer. Fans of his work eagerly await the arrival of these new additions to his growing literary oeuvre.
