Prolific Author, Temitayo Adekola, has announced the release of his latest book, “Trauma”, a compelling story about the myths, and cultural and psychological impact of blinded ignorance about certain issues in the society.

The story centres on an unhappy little boy who learns to overcome his challenges with the help of a true friend.

“Trauma” tells the story of Ayodele, a young boy who is struggling in school due to dyslexia. His condition not only makes his coursework a challenge but also leads to harassment and criticism from his peers.

However, Ayodele’s life takes a turn when he meets AJ, a new student who is also facing his own struggles with sickle cell anemia. Despite their differences, the two boys forge a strong bond of friendship, and together they learn to face their challenges and provide the needed support for each other.

Speaking about the book, Adekola noted that this beautiful and moving story will resonate with readers of all ages.

“Trauma is a story about the power of friendship, the importance of family, and community, and the ability to overcome life’s challenges. It is a must-read for anyone who has ever felt different, alone, or misunderstood” he disclosed.

Adekola is a self-motivated writer with a degree in Philosophy from Olabisi Onabanjo University. He has a passion for writing fiction that explores the human condition.

His previous works include “The Lost Course,” “The Cataclysm of July Thirteen,” and his Magnum Opus, “Trauma.”

“Trauma” is available for purchase in e-book formats on Selar, Amazon, and on Roving Heights for paperback.
