With New Single Making Waves, Nkan Eledua Makes New York Weekly’s Top 10 Emerging Brands

US-based talented Nigerian artiste, Nkan Eledua, has released a wave-making new single, titled ‘Mr DJ’.

The new single, a blend of Afrobeats, jazz and highlife, is inspired by American singer and actress, Rihanna.

Nkan’s afrocentric and cosmopolitan genre of music is out to grace the music world stage with her mesmerising craft.

“I started making art to share my gift of music with the world and to make a positive impact through my lyrics and music.”

According to the California-based artiste, who was listed among New York Weekly’s Top 10 emerging brands of 2022, said: “I started making art to share my gift of music with the world and to make a positive impact through my lyrics and music.”

In the New York Weekly’s article published on September 7, 2022, Nkan was described as an artiste whose Afrocentric lyrics rich in Yoruba, pidgin English and English have earned her performance credits at over 50 shows, events and festivals.

Nkan has earned various accolades and recognitions for herself and trade as a musician, one of which is ‘Golden Voice of Africa’, an appellation bestowed on her in Chicago for the captivation and dexterity of her vocal rangers.

Before her relocation to the US, Nkan made waves in Nigeria as an afrocentric singer, actor and fashionista.
