Nigerian Afrobeats star, Davido has mocked Canadian rapper, Drake, after he lost a £478,000 bet on Francis Ngannou defeating Anthony Joshua in a heavyweight boxing bout on Friday.

Drake had taken to his Instagram page to share a slip of the bet he placed on the bout.

However, he lost the bet as Joshua knocked out Ngannou and won the bout in just two rounds.

Taking to the comment section, Davido mocked the OVO boss for his loss.

He wrote in Pidgin, “Ur ticket don cut .”

Before the fight, Davido had declared that he was supporting Anthony Joshua because of his Nigerian heritage.

He wrote on his X handle: “As a Nigerian of course I want AJ to win … but e get one soft spirit wey this Francis get and plus his story again … u go come Dey use style gbadun him way!! But gotta stick with the Homeland .”
