American pop star Taylor Swift, 36, leads the list of artistes who have received the most streams in Spotify’s history.

This news comes as the online platform Spotify celebrated its 20th anniversary on Thursday, April 23. Spotify marked the event by disclosing its all-time most-streamed artists, songs, and albums, among others.

Swift has received the most streams in the platform’s history. She presently has more than 101 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This makes her the sixth-most-popular artiste on the platform at the moment.

Following Swift on the Spotify list of most-streamed artists is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, alias
Bad Bunny, with Drake, Abel Tesfaye, alias The Weeknd and Ariana Grande.

Swift’s influence on culture is said to be more present than ever this month as the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer recently led the 2026 American Music Awards nominations with eight in total, while American Idol declared previously this week that the top seven contestants will perform the “Lavender Haze” singer’s music on a special April 27 episode.
