Stakeholders Embark On Walking Tour Of Historic Isale Eko

As part of events marking the Annual Isale Eko Day Celebration, stakeholders will on Sunday, December 26, 2021 embark on a walking tour of the historic and culturally rich city.

The stakeholders, a body of frontline socio-cultural groups for the advancement of indigenous Lagos people will embark on the walking tour of the great historical landmarks to explore the rich history of Isale Eko.

The Walking Tour will take off by 7am from Lagos City Hall, Catholic Mission Street, Lagos.

Prior to that, the 2nd edition of the Ìsàlè Èkó Day Symposium- a springboard to discuss topical issues that impact the indigenes of Ìsàlè Èkó will take place on Sunday December 19, 2021.

Stakeholders from diverse backgrounds will gather in Lagos, Nigeria to exchange ideas on the challenges and potentials associated with day to day living in a mixed community of culture, commerce and residence.

The event will feature speakers with vast knowledge in Urban Regeneration will highlight new trends, innovative and sustainable approaches to improving the physical conditions of a diverse community like Ìsàlè Èko.

Themed Urban Regeneration of Isale-Eko-The Way Forward, the symposium will feature Faidat Ajibike Shomade and Lookman Oshodi as Speakers while Taibat Lawanson, Adun Okupe, Dolapo Osunsina, Rotimi Finnih and Kolade Kasim will act as Panelists. The vent will be moderated by Sola ‘Schullzz’ Mogaji and Hakeem Adenij-Adele.
