Popular Yoruba Nollywood Actor, Sisi Quadri Dies At 44

Popular comic Nollywood actor, Quadri Oyebamiji Tomori, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, is dead.

His colleague, Adekunle Abolade, popularly known as Dodo Ede, announced the death of the Iwo-born actor in a post on his Facebook page, on Friday.

Abolade wrote, “Rest in Peace Sisi Quadri. I watched Anikulapo Series early this morning and saw him died in the film, so he will die in real life today😭 May Allah grant him Aljanat Fridauz 🙏.”

Another Facebook user, Omo Iya Dare said, “What a black Friday for us in the city of Iwo, Sisi Quadri, Why😭😭😭😭?

Osun Defender gathered that the news, which has sent shockwaves to the Yoruba Nollywood industryc, is gaining traction on social media.

Sisi Quadri, was born on December 25, 1979, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is a prominent Yoruba movie actor, specifically known for his contributions to Nigerian Nollywood films. Around a decade ago, he embarked on his acting journey, and it was his role in the film “Seranko Seniyan” that earned him the moniker “Sisi Quadri.”

He established himself as a comedic actor, delighting audiences with his performances in popular Nollywood movies such as “Aje Ni Eegun,” “Iya Oko Mi,” and “Omo Iya Oko.”
