Miss Universe 2025: Contestants Stage Walkout After Organiser Humiliates Miss Mexico

Many contestants of the Miss Universe 2025 have staged walkouts from the pre-pageant ceremony in Thailand.

The development occurred after Nawat Itsaragrisil, an official from Thailand, the host nation, allegedly humiliated their fellow contestant, Miss Mexico, Fatima Bosch.

The drama started after Nawat Itsaragrisil called Fatima Bosch ‘dumb’ for failing to post promotional content on her social media page.

When Bosch objected, Nawat called the security and threatened to disqualify those supporting her.

Reacting to the embarrassment, Bosch walked out and others joined
in a show of solidarity with her.

Speaking in a viral video outside the venue, Bosch called the Nawat Itsaragrisil’s actions “disrespectful” and “undermining” to women.

“As a country, you have all my respect. I truly love Thailand. I respect all of you. You are amazing people. But what your director did is not respectful. He called me dumb and said to me to shut up and other different things. I think the world needs to see this because we are empowered women. This is a platform for our voice.”
